Everyone knows that food is an important part of any celebration, especially weddings. Instead of going for a traditional wedding cake, J. and I opted for cupcakes (and a couple of other desserts). We were so lucky to have our friends
Alex and Marisa (dynamic sister duo) make the most amazing mimosa cupcakes and lemon bars. The cupcakes were to die for with a fluffy orange cake and champagne frosting topped with orange zest. Everyone loved them! Our dessert table also featured carrot cake cupcakes and key lime pie tarts (made by Jacob's mother's group of lady friends).
These Mimosa Cupcakes were simply amazing and so beautiful!

Most of these cake tiers were handmade by Alex. She glued candle sticks and vases to vintage plates. We were so thrilled with how they came out. It really was a stunning spread.
